Abigail's parents instilled in her a passion for public policy. She majored in political science and history and minored in economics at the University of Minnesota. During her time there, she studied abroad in England and traveled extensively through Europe.
After working for a time at the Minnesota Legislature, Abigail returned to the University of Minnesota Humphrey School of Public Affairs on a scholarship to earn her Masters degree in Public Policy.
Both her experience during her formal education and her work in the legislature have Abigail convinced that now, more than ever, her generation needs to step up to the plate. "I believe we need to get back to the basics, to the the morals that founded our nation. I believe we can return to and remain one nation, under God."
In her free time Abigail enjoys reading, running, playing the piano for her worship team at church, and spending time with cherished friends and family.
